Why a Foundation?
It is important to be able to offer to all interested parties, the heritage of a company that was known the world over thanks to the ingenuity and entrepreneurship of its founder, Georges Bataille, and of his successors.
The company no longer exists but its international presence was such that it is not possible to forget it.
This is why the Génération Deux association and the Plessis-Belleville City Hall have decided to join hands in order to establish a Foundation.
Génération Deux has managed to preserve a large quantity of Poclain archives comprising documents, photographs, films recovered or donated by many former workers, employees or managers who worked for the company.
